Instructions:
WARNING: 1st step is a warning to only protect yourself: Wear protective gloves, have baking soda near by, and when heating the mixture, continuous stirring is needed to prevent expelling poisonous gasses and never heat above 170F which will expel poisonous gases.
1) Have your strips cut to size and placed in a plastic container on their sides.
2) Measure out the amount of glycerin based on the above suggested needed amount and pour it into a pot.
3) Warm the glycerin up to 130-140F.
4) Then measure out the oxalic acid based on the above suggested needed amount and pour it into the pot.
5) Continuously stir so it doesn't allow hot spots to expel poisonous gases.
6) With a thermometer or better yet a laser temperature gun, keep an eye on your mixture as it heats up.
7) Keep stirring till the temperature raises to 150-155F when the liquid clears up.
8) When it's cleared up and ready, turn off the heat and pour the liquid over the pads.
9) After 15 minutes, flip the pads over to the other side to soak up anymore residual fluid.
10) Seal it up and let it cool down.
11) Once cooled (best over night), it's ready to apply in the hives.
