For harvesting propolis place the screen on the topmost frames in the hive, ensuring the maker's name is facing downwards. Leave until the bees have deposited propolis in the gaps in the screen and then remove. Place the screen in a large plastic bag in the freezer for at least 24 hours. Remove from the freezer and while still in the bag bend the screen to dislodge the propolis.
