This article explores the mutually beneficial partnership formed between the Missouri Soybean Association and local beekeeping organizations. By integrating honey bee colonies into their corporate and educational facilities, soybean farmers aim to highlight the symbiotic relationship between pollinators and agricultural crops. In exchange for managing the hives, beekeepers gain access to modern meeting spaces and resources to further their educational outreach. This collaboration began with the relocation of a healthy colony to Jefferson City, where it serves as a living exhibit for visitors. Ultimately, the initiative seeks to promote a deeper public understanding of how essential bees are to the success of the soybean industry. The project is viewed as a shared success that bolsters environmental health while supporting the goals of both agricultural and apicultural communities.
