Apistan | Varroa Mite Control | Class C - Agriculture PCP#33771

Varroa Mite treatments including Apistan are a regulated Class C Pesticide under the Pest Control Products Act and Ontario Regulation 63/09. 
Class C Pesticides may only be sold to individuals who possess  one of the following:

• Certified and Registered Apiarist / Beekeeper
• Certified Farmer
• Exterminator
• Pesticide Vendor

A valid copy of at least one of these licenses will be required at purchase to acquire any Class C Pesticide treatment.

Simple defense against Varroa mites in honeybee colonies. Can be used in Spring before the honey flow or in Fall after honey supers have been removed.

• High proven efficacy in a six-week treatment period
• Easy to use; safe for bees and beekeepers
• Not detectable residue in honey
• Impregnated PVC stips release the right amount of active ingredient
• 1 strip for every 5 frames of bees is recommended
• Active ingredient: Fluvalinate 10%

As per the Ministry of the Environment, Conservation and Parks (Section 9 of O.Reg. 63/09), Class C pesticides can only be sold to registered beekeepers, certified farmers or licensed pesticide exterminators. A copy of your certificate must be supplied at the time of purchase.  You can provide a copy during your visit or email a copy to sales@valleybeekeeping.com
